Matthews is gonna push $10mil+. And Marner won't be too much lower I think. Thankfully beyond this season Toronto is going to be absolutely fucked salary cap-wise. But yeah, now that Nylander is signed the conversation is going to go from endless "will he be signed or traded?" to "is he performing now that he's signed" every fucking time he steps foot on the ice. Tor/NHL media is going to permanently stay obnoxious, let's be real here.

Oh man, looking at Toronto's cap situation next season they are so fucked lmao. $56mil already taken up. Assuming a modestly low $15mil for Matthews+Marner (realistically closer to $20mil), that puts them at $71mil cap hit for probably around an $80~$82mil salary cap with still only an NHL roster of 14 players signed. About $10mil to sign 10 players including a backup goalie.
