3 games seems much though for someone who hasnt been suspended in like 7 yrs, prob worth 2. But the DOPS is anything but consistent: Matheson got 2 games for a slewfoot chokeslam to an early Calder favourite because he absolutely dummied him on the ice seconds earlier.

And even after losing 12 games in a row, you have enough points with today's win to be in a tie for the last wild card spot and 1 point behind the first WC lol. I dunno whether be impressed or annoyed.

One thing is for sure though, after Calgary, Vegas, SJ, Winnipeg and Nashville, there is a GIGANTIC drop-off and gap with the rest of the West lol

Huge win for the Leafs tonight, a solid effort against the best team in the league after a couple stinkers. Still haven't lost 3 straight this season. Got dumped on in the faceoff dots though, need to be better there.

I'd still be hesitant to put San Jose in that list until they can prove the goaltending during our 6 game win streak wasn't a fluke. Our offense is downright scary, but we've had way too many games where we've lost even after scoring 4+ goals in the game.

Except that wasn't a bad run. That was 6 games of giving up 2 goals or less, when we were averaging giving up over 3 goals a game coming into it, with several losses being of the 7-4, 7-5 variety.

Was at the game, you guys played pretty good and capitalized on the Bolts breakdowns in the 2nd as well as that wonky EN goal. Tampa whiffed on a lot of great chances but overall, was a very entertaining game.
