We risk charges literally every day with the decisions we make, some of which our lawyers have already educated or prepared us to document and be able to defend in court.

Someone comes in having used marijuana we're not obligated to report it just because they're baked out of their mind, yet it's a crime.

Doctors have that privilege where unless there's a specific law (and some states have them) that prohibits you from acting in the interest of saving a patient's life it's REALLY hard to be sued, charged, or sent to prison unless you're either grossly negligent or terrible with documentation.

Dr Day ain't going to jail for performing an emergent ectopic excision just because Governor Fuckbob thinks killing babies is bad. No court would convict for shit like that, it would be a political nightmare.

At the most this will create problems for non-emergent cases, and women most certainly will die as a result.

Don't extrapolate me concurring with Kuronosan's comments to me supporting the SCOTUS leaked opinion, its obviously trash Roe is likely going to be overturned.

Just supporting the general comments on medical field implications of dangerous pregnancies and if they'd be treated.
