So back to the Supreme Court - honest question, I don't know the answer to this:

If someone was to find, say, Alito and snipe him with a deer rifle tomorrow, would this ruling still be able to be issued since it was already written? Or do all 5 justices have to be present and accounted for when the ruling is presented in July?

I doubt they have moments of introspection, but a good opportunity for it would be when they loosen gun laws in the next month and it doesn't affect them because they are still protected by the secret service around the clock.

Also today SCOTUS ruled that border patrol agents can break into anyone's house and attack them. Basically the entire US population lives within the 100 miles from the border enforcement region.
