Something something MLK: “Let us say boldly that if the violations of law by the white man in the slums over the years were calculated and compared with the law-breaking of a few days of riots, the hardened criminal would be the white man. These are often difficult things to say but I have come to see more and more that it is necessary to utter the truth in order to deal with the great problems that we face in our society.” Something something "Riot is the language of the unheard."

Don't get me wrong. I'm not equating this ruling to hundreds of years of violence towards blacks even though it does disproportionately affect that community. I am saying the sentiment on violence does translate.

I hope then, that some action is taken, because we're well beyond the point where it is at all worth talking to these people. They tried to form an insurrection, outwardly mock school shootings, celebrate violence, and are absolutely begging for an opponent to shoot at.

This won't be the spark. It's just another piece or tinder in the box for the future. I do believe riots in the state capitals are called for though.

Yeah, my wife and I started seeing a fertility specialist last month after she miscarried. She's likely going to need surgery to remove some endometriosis. Even then, in vitro fertilization may be necessary. She's high risk for miscarriages anyway, so this is especially troubling for us.
