It's really tragic people will suffer over how blind these religious and traditional right wing extremists are. Without fail if I speak with one and keep it as basic as possible it is always along the lines of "I don't believe in it" or "it's murder." So there is no stopping that sort of pervasive demagoguery that has taken back over with reason.

A month or so ago, my hospital asked me to take a peripartum mental health job. I declined because I thought developing a rapport with that population, as a male, would be difficult. I don't know what these women go through. I don't think I was the first choice, but they can't fill the position. No applicants. It's a very hard population to treat.
