I think 65 would be a good cutoff as well. 50 is still young IMO as far as mental health goes.
Yah, 65 seems like a nice age to tell them to gtfo and retire already.
Its funny because its true
For me it's about the generational gap. Consider, for a moment, we've got a bunch of people who probably can't open an email penning legislation related to tech. We've got fuckers who don't know what Facebook is, confuse it for Twitter, and probably still think MySpace is a thing. When you've spent half of your life or more without the internet really being a viable part of the average US household, you're probably not going to be inclined to fight for it. You're likely to be set in your ways and not give a shit one way or another.
Conversely, those in the 40-50 range might have issues they're out of touch on, but if they've raised kids, they're more likely to have had to deal with them indirectly. This isn't to say every politician must have reproduced, but it's more likely they're going to have to understand tech to better deal with today's schooling, know about cyber bullying, why parental blocks are a thing, and so on. They're far more likely to know what's worked and hasn't for them in a more current world sphere.
The only exception I would offer is if you're running for a consecutive term after aging past 50. With term limits otherwise being something we should strive for, having people over 60 probably shouldn't be happening. So, yeah, for me it's about more than just cognitive decline risk. We've still got a minimum age for the Presidency, but otherwise, if some 20 year old nails a major office, I'm not inclined to say they're automatically unqualified if they managed to get the votes.
I'm a little surprised this is generating any confusion on a video game forum. Have y'all never experienced technical issues with voice chat? Dumbfuck A has the raid leader muted and dumbfuck B is in the wrong channel while dumbfuck C has an open mic while he's on the phone with his mom, etc.
idk, maybe i'm just not woke enough but this 100% looks like she's reacting to a different video feed than we're seeing.
You talk like dealing with Trump for 4 years wouldn't drive anyone insane... look at Amarosa!
yeah it's tough when so much winning is going on and you can't stop it
glad we all agree she is deranged tho

The arrow/quiver analogy is hers; she used it earlier. Fuck you for making me watch a video you clearly haven't.
regardless there were no technical issues or "different video feed" issues. good try tho.

Man, if we are holding politicians to their word, the nominee will have like no votes in the senate.
The right trying to use Democrats saying we had to fill Scalia's seat as a way to say we should go ahead and fill Ginsburg's when you were, to a man, laughing at those same Democrats and cheering on Mitch in 2016 is truly a sign of what utter garbage humans you are.

When McConnell dies or, better yet, gets shot in the face, it'll be a top 10 moment for me. Would only be out done if one of Graham's male escorts were to out him in a murderous rage.
