It works if you also abolish all the oppressive systems keeping GoP candidates in power. Gerrymandering, voter suppression, etc because they know they couldn't win without all the scheming and nefarious plots but centrist and moderates would fuck it up somehow.

My problem with that is it assumes Donald is geared enough to draw aggro and trigger the flail when I see him more as the tank standing not on a foot, but right in front and bitching that heals aren't keeping him alive. Then when the wipe happens, it's everyone else's fault.
