Idk how people can see whats happening to the Supreme Court and their decisions right now and think things wouldn't be fundamentally different with a dem president.

Literally none of these last 3 picks would have made it to the courts. An entire branch of government would be completely different, even if McConnell just refused to vote on those 3 candidates.

Biden is likely to change the courts entirely, another thing fundamentally different.

I would think they all will push for progressive change, just at different levels. Incremental progress is still progress no matter how much bernie bros like to argue it isn't.

Biden isn't so much a "moderate" as he is "at the center of the Democratic party".

Which means that the chances of him making substantive reforms to the filibuster or court packing are low, but there's a lot of good things I'd expect to see from him if he did manage to get rid of the filibuster.

This is more what I was thinking. Either that or the difference between Cholera and the common cold. Or like a pizza with actual poop on it or a pizza with pineapple on it. *pineapple is probably a good comparison because some people vehemently hate pineapple on pizza but it is edible no matter what but some people like it.
