I originally thought this slime isekai anime was stupid as fuck based on no knowledge of the source material and just seeing the concept in the preview charts. But man, I think I'm 100% wrong. 2 episodes in and I'm kind of hooked lol. Gonna go read the manga now and spoil myself

Seems like a really weird/dumb place for the series to stop (until when? Next spring? gdi) when shit really picks up to one of the most exciting parts literally from the next episode.

Yeah, it's on break, I think. Only reason it didn't finish up with most other shows is because a broadcast got delayed due to weather.

2nd episode of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken was nice. Its almost weird where... in goblin slayer you see little scrawny male goblins, and then you see the slime anime, where there are female goblins and their all sexy...

Yeah, and they got there during the day. She mentions how beautiful it is etc. The party before gets beat. Also mentions that it's a elf fortress so it burns easy. Few other things here and there.

Goblin slayer actually has a great deal of narrative problems that don't hold up under basic scrutiny to reveal the length the author is going through to make goblins not be considered a threat while also making them a threat. I doubt most actually complaining about goblin slayer are considering that instead of just being outraged over the rape.

Eg:
Swordsman doesn't know how to half sword when it's one of the most basic techniques out there. (blame Japan being only used to Katana?)

The cleric being RAISED by another priestess with PTSD from goblin rape that has nightmares each night. The Church has an insanity wing exclusively for goblin rape survivors. She had to have run into them at some point during her training. Pfft. You're right random person I met 10 seconds ago. Goblins can't possibly be dangerous. Rest of the church doesn't even take em seriously. What do goblins even do anyway?

A 3/4 female party? That definitely doesn't sound like they're going to turn into breeding sows birthing dozens of goblins per day per person. Clearly these women should go fight the rape monsters that can detect them more easily than males.

1/3 to 1/4 of frontier farms get raped to death? Nah. These things aren't a threat. No reason to make a well trained militia instead of being a defenseless lv 1 peasant while living in the dangerous frontier. PS. Goblins aren't a threat. No countries care about their supply line being destroyed this hard.

Goblins have gold rank + goblins if they get enough exp. Most adventurers know about them and shit their pants at the idea of dealing with one.

Guild girl can't actually tell the idiots that are clearly about to die that they aren't allowed to do the quest due to company policy. Guild sends in 2-3 waves of adventurers to their deaths instead of making sure there's one team that can do the job right. Maybe the company just doesn't realize... Nope. turns out they'd noticed and can't think of a single way to fix it. I mean it's only goblins, right? They have more important things to care about like the demon lord and his army. What's that? Maybe you'd have more people for that if you weren't getting half of them killed over stupid shit? That's crazy talk. Goblins aren't a threat.

Remember those gold rank goblins that I mentioned earlier? That policy is how they get created. No reason to change that. No Siree.
