Just out of curiosity, for those that have it, have you been experiencing crashing/freezing problems during gameplay? What about from the system UI itself?

I think I've had 2 crashes, but they were after a long time of playing.

I need to download the newest system patch though this morning.

Just a heads up with this, if you have it set up to automatically install updates (if set to auto download), it will log you out of PSN which will cause your game to lose connection if you're in an online game. Was playing Destiny 2 this morning when the update came out and I got kicked from a crucible match when it installed.

Ps5 crashed on boot up from rest mode after downloading the update. When the update tried to install it completely froze on the home screen, controller didn’t do anything, just ejecting the disc worked. The power button didn’t work, i just pulled the plug and forced it to restart, luckily enough it worked, but the update was corrupted and i had to redownload it.

Demons Souls crashed once, and froze for like 5+ seconds another time before righting itself.

Jinxed myself. Had a crash in Spiderman remastered in a cutscenes. Luckily relaunching the game it picked up right where it crashed so I didn't miss a cameo.

So far I haven't had any crashes or glitches. Have been using rest mode as well on PS5 with no bricking. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones ? Been playing Spider-Man Remastered and Astros heavily.

Considering the recent update, so far no hard crashes to shut down or soft crashes to home screen.

Oof. Yeah I did that once. I think you can just shortcut right to checkout and skip your cart altogether. I have the hyperlink ready to go lol. Either way I'm not super concerned. If I get it; great it's out of the way. If I don't; not that much to play on it anyway and it'd be a huge paperweight for months.
