It may have been why I truly enjoyed all aspects of endgame to the degree that I did. One 7 year long rewarding high. Every drug I have done since has not even given me half the feeling I got from ffxi at times.

Top 3 rushes of ffxi for me were:
-Those few seconds where everyones alarms start going off as everyone on voicechat starts screaming popopopopopopopopop
-Having something just pop and racing side by side through multiple zones with rival ls's pld or whatever could temporarily hold. aka, everyone all of a sudden hitting tele-mea and racing through maze of shak on autorun while also spamming /sea all on every rival member u know
-Killing something cfh'd in front of an ls you absolutely hated, especially when it was one of their rare claims and they were the ones that cfh'd it

Non-adrenaline related was just the pure comfort and enjoyable nature of hanging out with a family every day that you created and accomplished so many things with in spite of the game and it's creators.

Not to say doing amphetamines and spot cleaning my house for 20 hours isn't enjoyable or going on random 4am adventures, but those would rank a 2/10 with ffxi's 10/10. Running that square rug in your moghouse on repeat with nothing to do would be a 1/10.

Amphetamines are basically the same level of enjoyment that you get from finally organizing your inventory/safe/locker and mules.
