it's amazing cause whether it be in game drama, offseason drama, or playoff drama, there is something for everyone, year round. i'm not quite sure why but i also think that the players being allowed to be themselves is huge, whereas in a sport like the NFL it all seems very militant and in-line, like "oh you can't do this or say this or kneel" without it being super serious.
yeah i noticed lmao. article was really good, by one of my favorite nba writers. fwiw, i have no love lost for the suns because of how sarver butchered steve nash's chances at rings. i wonder if sarver will be destined to be that meddling owner who will never figure things out.
Watching The Ringer video on Trae Young and the dude calls Kevin Huerter "the butcher's boy" (GoT reference) ROFL

Got to watch the Hawks game since they played the Spurs. Trae got out played by Derrick White LOL
The Kings and C's got a good one going on, 49 all at the half. Fox and Buddy are really a good show, shots to Giles as well he's come back nicely. This playoff hunt is the realest it's been for SAC in years.
Laker's twitter is awesome
Laker Twitter "LeBron. MJ. Tied at 32,292 points apiece."
Everyone's response "YOU'RE DOWN BY 20!!!" lol
lmao
Always a funny segment but this one... Yikes, Bron. lmao
Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball both will miss the remainder of the Los Angeles Lakers' fading season.
Ingram has been diagnosed with deep venous thrombosis in his ailing right arm, and coach Luke Walton was tight-lipped Saturday on any further details, other than to say the third-year forward is out for the season.
Hours after the Lakers revealed Ingram's condition, a source confirmed that Ball has been shut down for the remainder of the season as he continues to make his way back from a Grade 3 ankle sprain and bone bruise.
since the agony of 0-18 and more proof of Sarver being the absolute worst we knocked the Lakers out of the playoffs and humiliated Milwaukee and Golden State. give me Zion and the season is officially a success.
you sure sarver isn't itching to draft another wing?
don't put that evil on me kisady-bobby
at least his last one should work out Mikal looking like a fine 3&D wing. braindead of Philly to give him up.
leave it to bryan colangelo to fuck up everything he touches
TLDW; Basically this guy is saying that hand-checking and being more physical does not equal tougher/better defense. He compares players' numbers that played during the changes showing that their numbers actually went down when hand-checking was taken out, even though older players claimed it would be easier to score in this era. The cause of their numbers going down most likely being because of the illegal defense rule being taken out.
I thought it was a pretty good video. I'm not gonna lie, though, I barely started watching basketball in 2014-15, and I'm sure you can guess why lol. Anyway, since then I feel I've consumed a lot of basketball and am still learning a lot, but I always heard how the 80-90's were tougher and how players today wouldn't be able to put up the same numbers. Cool to learn about the rule changes. Honestly never knew about illegal defense, and maybe I'm not getting the whole picture, but it seemed really dumb and I feel like I would hate watching old games cause of it.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
