Well good thing that said owner was a racist piece of shit who no longer owns the team.
for sure. that he would stay in that capacity was one of my biggest fears, because i felt like it was plainly obvious as a longtime clipper fan or even just a hardcore NBA fan. doc wasn't a guy you wanted to provide omnipotence. and ballmer, being new, gave him both those roles as a newly minted owner.
very much to ballmer's credit, though, he decided separation of roles and delegating experts to every single aspect of the front office was the way to go. after a while it became apparent that doc's moves were only handicapping the team as GS continued to get stronger, and it became pretty hopeless thinking they'd go anywhere. but now they are in such great shape, going forward that i don't think i've ever felt more confident in the organization as a whole.
what does it feel like
wow i felt that pain from here, i'm so sorry
but it's ok suns will prob pick top 3 and walk away with either zion or ja, and hope should bloom for the next few years
You don't pass on Zion if they end up with the #1 pick, but Ja would probably be great on the Suns, especially given their PG situation.
Suns just lost at home on a Thomas Bryant gamewinner despite Booker dropping 50 again
can't plan that kind of timing
Also, I'm assuming the NBA will rig the lottery so that Knicks end up getting Zion no matter what.
if that piece of shit gilbert gets the #1 pick again i'm going to be sick
I will legit feel bad if Zion went to the Knicks or Suns.
As bad as they've been the Knicks and Suns at least theoretically have plans, they just need their owners to stop being well... themselves.
You and I both know that will not happen. Sarver will Sarver and throw a max at Scary Terry and Dolan will just ban everyone.
Its Manu night, and man tears will be shed.
They need to put that Manu-Harden block on repeat during the entire ceremony.
Still legit think Harden gets PTSD from that even today when he plays...
It's not talked about much, but one of Manu's last games and I think last home game.
