well-deserved. dude was one a kind, has to be the most popular Spur ever across the league by a country mile. even when you hated their grindy little dynasty it was hard to not love the passion of the Manu throwing a reckless one-handed bullet pass halfway across the court.

even argued with some guys about it on a forum and they were like, nah marko jaric looks better for a second round pick. i'm not sure how exactly anyone could think that considering he was jamming on fools and running the court at probably 3 times the speed of jaric.

shrug. at the end of the day and at the end of a great career by him, i just add another player to the list of legendary ones the clips missed out on. too bad cause manu is one of my favorite players, ever.

felt like that 3 point and1 was pretty criminal. but i didn't understand the complaining about the foul when they were holding the guy on the inbounds pass. the ref is going to call that every single day.

Considering how much the refs had been fucking up just seconds before (taking away KDs 3+1, and missing a foul by Okogie on Steph for the one he made), they had a right to be mad.

Of course, considering they were taunting that same official right before the inbound and somehow didn't get a whole mess of Ts for it, I'm not sure what they would have been expecting. Dubs were asking for it acting like that.

refs have been criminal this year, between the blown calls, the techs for anything at all, that moron walking into Nurkic's busted foot. feels like the NFL replacement season except there's no obvious excuse.

I am not a Spurs fan at all but i loved dedication Manu showed in his career, i hope he makes HoF, if you check his stats per 100 posessions you get a glance of how good he was. Also he got an amazing gold olympic medal in 2004 and Argentina in 2001 (i think) broke a 58 Usa streak win.

in fairness it gets lost a little because of the lazy defense and off court shenanigans and hideous roster construction but the man just put up a 27-8-9 season at the same age Carmelo Anthony has literally become unplayable. in terms of individual performance has to be one of the best old guy seasons ever.

If y'all missed the party that's been shaping up today, Porzingis has been accused of rape. Supposedly it happened last year, apparently on the same day he tore his ACL.

The NBA has known about it for awhile, and the Mavs were told about it when they were in trade discussions with the Knicks. The woman in question has been trying to get hush money out of Porzingis for months and just now went to the police about it.
