you can see how the gap closed here, though interestingly it's been the Bucks defense more than their offense which has come down to earth even as Detroit's offense got (relatively) supercharged.

also shows how juiced up the Jazz offense got and how much harder Houston is playing on D. both love and hate that matchup think the two best non-Golden State teams in the West are facing each other in the first round.

Quin Snyder is a fine coach but I hate this Harden gameplan, they're riding James's left hip almost perpendicularly to take away the stepback 3 and the lefty dribble dancing but in doing so are giving him a wide open lane into the paint and he is carving up their help defense. not the right way to play Harden, take away his passing and force him into a one dimensional low efficiency volume scorer as his foul calls dry up in the rougher postseason.

I ended up playing FO 4 all night instead of watching a televised massacre. It's been reported Blake is out for Round 1 (as if a round 2 is in the Pistons future). After seeing Drummond act like an idiot I don't think I care to watch the remainder. I'll catch up on other games. Hope the Pistons figure it out for next season.
