was hoping for 3 game 7's on Sunday alas

Houston is in for some questions. they're thin, Paul's max is going to age badly, and big bucks #3 star Capela looked unplayable against GS for the second straight year. everywhere else besides PJ Tucker and Gordon is yikesy- when you need reclamation projects like Gerald Green and Kenneth Faried and Austin Rivers to contribute serious minutes (who are also all expiring). in a weird spot they're built solely to counter Golden State but without Ariza the talent disparity is too vast, and they're capped out. guess it depends on if Durant stays but i dunno if they get a better shot at a chip than this. this offseason is going to be bonkers.

Draymond Green stood outside the visiting locker room at the Toyota Center, greeting teammates as they came in. When Stephen Curry made his way through the crowd, he looked straight at Green — before they slapped hands and bumped chests — and screamed, “Kick me off the court again, boy!”

There is a story behind that.

On the eve of Friday’s Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals, Curry wanted to get some shots up at the Toyota Center. The Warriors’ do-it-all manager, Eric Housen, booked the court from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. so Curry could work on his shot. Somehow, Rockets guard Chris Paul got wind. He decided to go to the Toyota Center to get shots up, nixing Curry’s reservations. The Warriors’ point guard offered to stick to half a court, but Paul wasn’t having it. Curry was kicked off the Toyota Center court.

Hence: “Kick me off the court again, boy!” And Green replied to Curry’s taunt by screaming, “Kick him off! Kick him off!”

Harden and Paul's ref baiting is terrible but they aren't really dirty

Bogut was a dirty as hell player for years too, and KD is snek.

Rest of the roster is pretty hard to dislike tho. Even Cousins has been generally likeable this last season.

I struggle with Draymond because the dirty stuff is obvious and stupidly unnecessary, but I love guys with his passion that are giving every last ounce of effort to win. PJ Tucker another example

Isn't Portland even more banged up then Golden State? It also seemed like Denver has struggled these playoffs as well.

Portland is missing Nurkic and honestly wasn't even expected to get past the first round. Kanter has been playing well in his stead but his shoulder is a ticking time bomb.

Denver is more or less healthy, but at least during the regular season GS absolutely massacred them every game after Cousins entered the lineup (the first matchup between them Nuggets won by 2). Cousins is apparently due to come back at some point during the WCF, so we'll see. Denver's bench has also been playing like shit for most of the playoffs, when it was their bench depth that got them to the #2 seed.

No disrespect to either team, but most people looked at Houston as the Dubs only serious Challenger in the West, and that hasn't really changed.
