I don't care whether it's standard or dst, just pick a time and stop fucking with the clocks twice a year.

Working/voting at my polling place tomorrow, but just finished spending the morning finalizing my sample ballot.
Seriously people, if you can vote, and haven't already, go do it today or tomorrow.
If you can't vote because you haven't registered, go register.
Completed my ballot today -- we are the 40%.
I'd vote so hard against DST given the opportunity.
Is Soda voting? Hey... Soda, you voting mang? Or is your vote still up for sale (4 incher subway) lol.
Just so everyone is clear the vote in CA isn't to end time changes it is just a vote to allow them to choose to end time changes if we want.
Yeah. The wording is
"a yes vote SUPPORTS allowing the legislature to (1) change the dates and times of the DST period, as consistent with federal law, by a two-thirds vote and (2) establish permanent, year-round DST in CA by a two-thirds vote if federal law is changed to allow for permanent DST"

I'm seriously getting PTSD flashbacks of the election 2 years ago. I may sit in my house and drink until I don't feel anything if Dem's blow it again. Please god get out there and vote.
If you're planning to deep dive on the people on your ballot, use this site - https://ballotpedia.org/Main_Page
It contains resources and links to resources on everyone running. Helped a ton for me when picking judges.

ND fed up with some shit
wow so ND young voter turnout went from like 2 to 51
you should go to Khan Academy stat my friend
I love that a bible belt state has a 666% increase in young voter turnout. Must be all those raps and comics corrupting the youth.
Tennessee is remarkably less bible belt than the other southern states. There has been a very large and very successful youth outreach program targeting Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, etc.
I wonder if the ND thing is because of the Standing Rock/Keystone Pipeline stuff.
Id wager its more a plea to acknowledge it still exists.
I plan on voting tomorrow, and bringing my naturalization certificate with me just in case.
I ran into this almost exact same scenario two years ago when I tried to get a VA drivers license at the DMV lmao. I think I even posted about it lol. My CO license had been expired but the law said as a federal employee and military veteran it was good for three years after it's expiration. I simply wanted to get a new one in VA to save myself a trip to CO. It was the first state I claimed coming back to the states having lived overseas for almost 8 years due to military/federal obligations.
The ladies at the counter were being difficult as shit. When I tried to apply for a VA license, I showed them my badge, creds, CAC card, orders showing I worked out of the pentagon, CO drivers license, MY FUCKING PASSPORT, and it wasn't enough. They specifically wanted to see either my birth certificate or proof of my citizenship. I suspect they did it because they overheard me talking Spanish helping an old lady out with the instructions.
I was escorted off the premise because I demanded an explanation on why the documents I've provided weren't enough to prove my legal residence. It was embarrassing as shit and a huge pain in the ass to then go home to NYC to grab my naturalization certificate from my mom.
