Replace what I quoted with the name Kavanaugh and understand why I think you're typing some shit.
I've been quiet on Ellison because I ain't gonna openly defend someone accused without the facts and its quiet obvious that he's nowhere in the same bracket as Kavanaugh but to say that the accused is the fucking victum is actually a reprehensible thing to fucking say jesus christ man.
Did you not read the article? Or what I quoted from the article? He was the victim of abuse in his marriage. It means nothing towards his innocence in his current accusation other than illustrating he doesnt have a history of being physically abusive. You can read whatever else your heart wants from that, but I never said he was the victim in his current allegation so you can scarecrow right off from that.

Salodin please, allegedly* there's no corroboration his ex-wife was ever physically abusive beyond his claims that she was.
though it is telling you believe his claims of abuse without hard evidence while not believing the claims of abuse from his former girlfriends because they lack such.
His ex-wife's statement about it does lend some weight.
i haven't seen a statement from her corroborating the accusation she was abusive but please present one if you have it
for what it's worth i think Ellison is probably telling the truth about his ex-wife. an individual can both abuse and be abused, depending on the particular partner, depending on the time of their life. especially so in cases such as all the ones Ellison was involved in, where the incidents in question were not the sadistic assaults of the severely disturbed (which would indicate some kind of psychological predisposition to pathological violence) but limited to slapping and shoving during emotionally explosive arguments. and it doesn't appear this is the case here but quite a few relationships feature both partners being physically abusive to one another.
From studies I remember reading this is actually more often the case according to both partners. A lot of abuse is people getting mad at each other (or sometimes just the bad situations they found themselves in) and lose their cool with the person that happen to spend the most time in private with.
There's also a 3rd rarer option which is probably not the case here. The psychopath that uses manipulation and goading to try to get the other to yell at them or hit them for various reasons. Not very common but it can make things hard to tell.
Either way might need a little more detail... lets see those marriage counseling records! Or we can just ignore this and focus on the actual accusation and the proof that hasn't turned up yet
Forgive me, I assumed since it was in the divorce papers/settlement that everything within was agreed upon and settled. If its alleged, and she didnt admit to it, then my b. Although in that case I imagine the news article would have pointed out her claiming those were a lie.

Alaska Governor Walkers (Independant) suspends campaign and ensorses Dem candidate. Dems might actually win that state's governorship.

Organized republican mob chased Nancy Pelosi into a hotel room and continued to harass her.
Heitkamp apologizing for a newspaper? ad that named abuse victims/survivors by name without their permission. Anecdotally, some dems have said they understand the mistake but wont be voting for her now, including some of the women named.
This party blows. Are DSA this willing to cut off their nose in spite of their face?

I've been seeing and discussing alot with Texas repubs about Beto not being a real Mexican. This is an actual meme/talking point lately. "Beto isn't his real name, he is really Irish"
1. Beto never claimed to be Mexican
2. I thought Republicans hated Mexicans
3.Beto was a nickname he has had since childhood.
4. Beto way born and raised in Texas
5. Cruz changed his name to Ted.
6. Cruz was born in Canada.
7. Cruz isn't Mexican either.
I've had people then backpedal into, it's just a meme. But they believe the meme as facts and then parrot them into mob talking points.
I hope Texas doesn't let Beto down.
Everyone in Texas with the slightest inclination toward voting blue will vote Beto and he will still lose.

Questions of sexual harassment and accountability have been a constant presence in 2018 politics. They resurfaced in the latest MPR News/Star Tribune Minnesota Poll when the question turned to new United States Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who testified that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party when they were teens. Of 800 likely voters polled last week, 47 percent of women said Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation makes them more likely to vote for Democrats on Nov. 6, while 33 percent of women said it makes them want to vote Republican.
Amendment 4 for the state of Florida this year has huge implications on future elections in the perpetually purple state. Amendment 4 seeks to restore voting rights to convicted felons—excluding those convicted of murder or felony sex crimes—upon completion of their prison sentence. FL’s current system for felon voting right restoration requires a substantial waiting period, a petition to the state’s parole board, and finally if those pass, the former felon must appear in person at a hearing in the state Capitol of Tallahassee before the Governor or designated cabinet members, who can then spend as little as 30 seconds reviewing case notes before saying yes or no. And that’s it. It’s final.
So A4 looks to be a pivotal piece of legislation not only for FL’s future but America’s as well.
