it should be noted recounts, in Florida or otherwise, very rarely result in the election flipping. Sinema's apparently imminent victory was the result of the 25% of Arizona's vote that was still out, and no such similar situation exists in Florida or Georgia. I don't buy the conspiracy theory stuff but it is unlikely any of the remaining Democratic candidates besides Sinema will win their elections.

Nelson is going to lose because of the bad design of the Broward County ballot (like Al Gore lost in 2000 because of the bad butterfly ballot in West Palm Beach), not because of "mismatched" signatures being counted or not.

Pretty amazing that incompetent county level Dem elections officials in one corner of one state are responsible for a Republican president being elected and are about to be responsible for a Republican senator too.

The formal goal in Georgia is to push it to a runoff and take another swing without Kemp actively disenfranchising people as AG. I don't think it will matter because the libertarian candidate would not be on the ballot and Kemp would likely pick up those votes, but it is worth noting that the goal there is not to win the election outright.

With Sinema, Democrats will have 47 seats in the new senate. It's 48 in the unlikely event that Nelson beats Scott.

We need +4 in 2020 (Doug Jones is dead in the water). Colorado (Gardner), North Carolina (Tillis), Arizona (McCain's seat), and Maine (Collins) are potentially viable. Reaches are Iowa (Ernst), Georgia (Purdue), Texas (Cornyn), Alaska (Sullivan). Obama carried Begich to a win in Alaska before.

Well, I think it's pretty clear that the senate race undervoting in Broward due to ballot design or machine malfunction won Scott the race. So it's ironic that he's throwing a fit over the ballot process.
