Brian Kemp (Georgia's Secretary of State, chief voter suppressor, and current candidate for Governor) has almost a million dollars in "insider loan" debt.
AKA he started a bank, people put their money in the bank, and then he loaned himself the money.
Florida and Georgia getting those dark governors!

Almost as if States are a bad way to divide administrative challenges.
Almost as if it makes sense to have rural administration rules, urban rules, etc. Instead of arbitratlry historical borders.
More like we shouldn't fall in love with the singular person and instead focus on states and not pilfering historic new leadership from states like Florida just because he made some great sound bytes that one time.
Basically, stay away from my states representatives for awhile. Kthxbai.

Unironically the cancer that is destroying the US.just because he made some great sound bytes that one time.
Literally elected a president on this line of thinking, everyone gets pissed and asks how this could happen, then proceeds to signal boost absolutely everyone on the left for doing the same exact thing, regardless of their policies.
Somebody getting a bunch of blue check marks on Twitter saying YAAAAAAAAAS SLAY does not qualify you for a single god damn thing.
Seriously, I mean think of the likes man.
recall you lot getting tingles in your yass queens whenever Barry got in 'the 1980s called to ask for their foreign policy back' and 'we also have fewer horses and bayonets' zingas during his debates with Mittens but life is about growth and i'm glad to see you all having a Road to Damascus moment
also Mittens would have implemented bad policies and appointed bad supreme court justices so applauding obama for clowning on him is a worthy means to an end
well i'm glad some of you have grown anyways

Donors are pumping more money into the MN House race than any other state (per district).
Minnesota’s U.S. House race is second in the nation for independent expenditures at a cool $38 million, according to data from the Federal Election Commission. It’s sitting just above Texas and Georgia at $36 and $35 million respectively, and following California at a whopping $90 million as of Thursday morning. (That's likely to change. The numbers are climbing quickly.)
Lest we sell ourselves (or our elections) short, let’s remember that Minnesota only has eight districts, as opposed to California’s 53, or Georgia’s 14. If you break it down by outside spending per district, Minnesota’s actually at the top of the list at $4.75 million.
That’s not to say all this wealth is being lavished upon each district equally. Districts 1, 3, and 8 are the ones getting most of the attention -- and the money -- at around $9 to $11 million apiece.
my favorite from McCain was him talking about Woodstock being a cultural and pharmaceutical event but he missed it because he was tied up at the time, but it's all nonsense. it is viewing politics as entertainment, it is sophistry that has nothing at all to do with the job they are seeking.
I'd say pointing out how your opponent is cozy with racists is pretty relevant to an election, doing it in a snappy zinger is just a bonus.
