It's not like I brought it up, and certainly had no plan to either. It's just strange to me that Gumi has been going out of their way to buff old units to the top of the meta for free, and all some people want to do is complain about it. If you buffed these units when the enhancements came out and have been using them since, there's no logical reason to think that Gumi owes you some sort of compensation for further buffing the unit for absolutely free.

I mean, fuck, even the bundle to basically go from 0 to 120 on one of the units was a lapis bundle and not cash.

All your posts have outright missed the mark. Not all of us whale and have time to farm for crysts, considering your units are far better than mine from what i’m seeing in my friendlist, it kinda goes hand in hand possibly as to why your responses are like that. Crysts are precious and well, after the cg unit enhancements, i wouldn’t mind getting back what i spent on Reberta, just the crysts, not the gil.

I'm not missing the mark because that's exactly the thing... ability enhancements are done 100% with ingame currency, not just something you can take a lapis shortcut to. My Kryla was fully enhanced too, and I got the materials to do it in the exact same way anyone else did, by farming raids for gil and story events for crysts. If anything, the fact that I spend on banners only means that my resources for things like that are stretched far more thinly. But I still don't care that my enhancements are gone, because I went from having an enhanced benchwarmer to having the best breaker in the game, and now she can get another wave of enhancements because she no longer has them. And these changes apply to every copy of that unit.

If Gumi decides to give back the crysts, cool, I'd love them. But I'm not going to bitch about it if they don't, because they gave me something of FAR greater value than what they took away.

Its just it is inconsistent to what they decide any given time, for example when they changed onimaru to a 2hnd they could of just made everyone upgrade using the recipe and leave it at that, but instead they gave everyone who already tmr'd a free weapon.

I think people would of been fine if devs gave an advanced notice that the abilities would be reset, but it was just bam all gone. Its jarring and for some it makes them feel like something was taken away.

My main gripe with it is there is very little precedent for this and no warning at all. Then add in how little ways there are to get crysts gives a certain level of apprehension when considering whether or not to enhance now.

Finally got my 40k points and bought the 10k bundles and noticed I had some some other tickets I forgot about. So 2 5* tickets, 1 5* 10+1, and 2 regular 10+1 Edgar #1, Shantototo #3, Lila #4. Not bad but no non guaranteed rainbows or even anything from current banner. So threw 10 3* and 10 4* tickets at banner to get 2 Tressa, 2 Therion, 1 Olberic. God I hate on banner rates but at least got a couple evasion pieces and nice tank tmr without too much spending. So many stmrs to catch up on

geez they really inventing a lot of new ways to separate us from our lapis outside of banners. between those 10k bundles and now this 9k for a 6+1+4 and a 100% trust and a diamond key... and the pool is only units added this year. Also getting a bunch of bonuses of other for 40 mil download

Managed to get the 40k and got the 5* ticket. Along with today's I got black mage golbez #2 and OK #4. 40mil download stuff looks neat. Will be interesting once we see the full details.

198 turns to solo the lantern trial. Couldn't figure out the fight with a normal setup, despite having 100% evade Sieg, high defense units, etc. At least 1-2 people would die to preemptive every fight, usually Sylvie. Esther solo took 2hours \o/ Never again.

Used up my FU tickets got some decent stuff. Went to use the coins for 6 plat pulls... 2 5* tickets and 4x STMR tickets <.<. Done like 11 plat pulls total now and not a single UoC, 10+1 or prism. Extra bad is I'm exactly 5 away from another plat pull. Had I mathed this out ahead of time probably could've gotten 1 more rank for that

Also remember to hold off on new enhancements. THat's one of the quests for the 40M download thing

Rank 204, so got 1020 tickets. Those turned into: 106 3* EX, 9 4* EX, and 3 5+1. Gave me enough for 7 more plat pulls and 3 golds, resulting in 3 5* EX, 4 bundles of 5 STMR stickets, 20 lapis, 4* EX, and a single STMR ticket. I'm happy enough with the 5* tickets, but the high rate of STMR tickets left me a bit meh. I have 52 STMR tickets now, with the first hundred being spent on a moogle already. I've still got 2 or 3 prisms so I don't really mind not getting any of those, though I certainly wouldn't have complained with a few extra.

My rank reward tickets, and subsequent gold pulls netted me:

5+1 x4
5* x5
4* x15
3* x89

Ignoring the 5* tickets, total rainbows came out to: 2 (Balthier #4 and Hyoh #4).

I think I can say with confidence that this was my worst summon session ever, lol...

Had 1045 with the ones I've saved up. Regular pulls got me 108 ex tickets. 13 4* rest were 3*. No 5* but I did get a 2nd prism moogle, 6 single stmr tickets and 6 silver keys. Did 6 platinum got 4 5* tickets and 2 5x stmr. Few golds with spare and all lapis.

Pulled 60ish 3* tickets and snagged 5 rainbows. Auron #4, Rivera #1, Ps rydia #1, esther #3 and LM Fina #2. Still have around 40 tickets left but I'll use em tomorrow.

My setup

Zon with rico wingsuit and status weapons spammed rash impulse
Zarga with evade and spammed chaos grenade
LM Fina with evade and defend spammed reraise
Summer Fid for breaks and water imbue
Rabbit girl
Rabbit girl friend.

1st turn everyone but Zarga, zon,, and LMF die. Zon does rash impulse, if it paralyzes then Zarga can chaos or dispel or buff. LMF raise everyone and casts reraise .
2nd turn everyone buffs debuffs etc,
3rf turn Rabbit girl x2 triple casts BS
4TH turn LB time for the win

I just 5 manned it with 5 units all set for 100% evade and 100% fire resist. Gave R.Lightning Toxic Rain to spam until Kryla DOTs ticked a few times and almost killed it, then LB for the finish. Never got hit with the fire imperil move, but it wouldn't have mattered really because I didn't have a tank or any real healer so I could have just used Kryla party dispel.

I just ate deaths from dots and such and powered thru it. Basch tanked, CG Lid provided some early support then LB broke on turn I went for kill. CG Nichol provided buffs and regen to counter dot. CG Folka provided things like status and break resistance and healing and mitigation etc. Then 2 bunny girls who used both self buffs the turn before they went off then chained their Lbs to kill. Bunny girls had at least 50% fire resist everyone else had 100% so was pretty easy to stay alive after I recovered from preemptive

I should have done the gold banner with my coins instead. I got 10 tickets and 2 5* tickets which were dupes of garbage that I already STMRed. I could have at least had gotten a decent amount of lapis for banners. Also, did these assholes seriously remove both summon tickets from the unit intro quest for bartz? Lmao fuck off.

Haha and replaced them with 10 NRG pots and gil snappers lol.

So used some 5* tickets... and one of them is Bartz. Noice. Takes 10 4* tickets at the banner to get 4 more farming units.... game trolls me with 1 rainbow of #5 Lila and also gives me 2 Regular Warrior of lights lol
