This new KM sucks. Not only are we stuck with 3* bonus units but now the stages only have 3 rounds. Going to take forever to farm up stuff. Can't pull much cause of KH and these 2 new 5* kinda suck so no incentive to pull them. Is shadowlord really that good now? I've got 2 and they are both still sitting at level 0.

He's pretty strong and while he's not exactly with the other top meta DDs his damage is pretty good. His hp sacrifices have gotten smaller and Firion's sword can basically make them nothing. Innate ribbon and triple guts and being to able to weave a RR+ mirage into his triple casting makes him means pretty much can ignore most defensive gearing which lets him catch up on damage. Not sure how good but it's pretty cool

So 40M DL banner is super tricky. The picture shows the last step with some coins with a big 40 on them and a tiny x10. So some people have already pulled seeing the 40 thinking that's how many coins we get.

Anyways yay Galuf I guess idk I think I'll wait for CG WoL. Finally used my silver keys and of course get Serena. Only one I didn't want since she was hugely nerfed and tmr aint even that good. So either have to do another pull to have enough coins for a prism... or stick to not getting one of these limited time units to 7* since definitely not doing Serena /sigh

For the first time in forever I had a friend request. Can't even remember how long it's been since that shit was broken. Cleared out a buncha space cause it seems like a large chunk of my friends list has quit playing. Some were over 200 days from last login.

Those like... who? Pretty much the only bad thing I've heard about Firion is that he's a little niche because he lags slightly behind the top DPS when his killers aren't helping.

But seriously, a video of him chaining entrusted LBs with a copy of himself against a human enemy where he gets doubled stats? Ok.

A lot of people on reddit have been pretty meh about him until a couple threads about what you could do came out and well scroll up just a few posts and you see a these 5*s suck.

Anyways about the vid I mean not sure anyone else can pull of a push threshold every turn strat right now and they did it with skipping a threshold too. Maybe some setup with 2 really strong chainers + a strong finishers with all of them being able to do that every turn? Or maybe double Regina's with at least decent chainers?
And +100% stat isn't doubled stats...

In all fairness, that "slightly" is nearly 50%. So many jump on the spreadsheeted to not be on top = useless train that it's silly. Any DPS unit from the last 6~ months is more than capable of doing more than enough damage. Will you by able to one shot or bypass thresholds with all of them? Nah, but they're still more than capable of filling their niche.

The ratings post and such go a long way towards people having dumb biases against units. I loved seeing how many switched to saying Esther is too weak when they dropped her ranking by 0.5 because there were better chainers for one of her families.

Without the enemy being human or him having doubled base stats (yes, +100% is double) AND chaining his LB with a copy of himself, he couldn't do it either. People tend to value units more for their OVERALL ease of use and utility, and units that rely heavily on gimmicks like specific killers or have really slow windups like Bartz just aren't as hyped because realistically speaking, these units are pretty expensive to most players, so they tend to horde for units that have more broad usability. The community at large seems to have greeted Firion with a bit of a "meh", because on a scale larger than this fight, he's kind of a "meh" unit. He's certainly not bad per se, but if you're not a huge fan of his character/game, you'd only really only spend for him if you just spend in general.

First off you said his stats doubled not base stats. Second you know when you say double it makes it sound like a ton when it's going from like 2.3k to 2.6k

Regarding the rest none of it really debates what I've said. A lot of people were meh about it and yeah maybe it's niche but he can do some pretty crazy things

You didn't say % increase you said double and you know general common parlance as well as specifically for games with % boosts that add together and more specifically especially FFBE where you have so many innate bonuses that add in those are not the same thing. Nobody says Primose triples your stats for example

Anyways seems I was wrong on zerg strat. Tried with Regina and a friend and managed to push a threshold the first 3 turns and got to 15% on T4. Given friend Regina was missing about 300 atk and 50 human killer from mine and mine could still use some improvement I'd say Regina's can do the no defense method

Anyways yay free rainbow today. Actually managed to get a 2nd one too. Can 7* Ignacio... now to see if I got the crysts to enhance

How am I wooshing? Firion's stats, HIS stats, are doubled for the fight. Not his gear's stats, not some weird multiplicative boost from other bonuses, but his own personal stats get a +100% (double, in common parlance) bonus for the fight. Just like if you gave him some +100% to all stats materia, except I believe it ignores the 400% bonus stat cap.
