all that luck aside, I'm still sticking to my daily logins Goomi has soooooo much trust to rebuild with me, and anyway I bought a Switch recently so FFBE can take a hike. but no reason not to collect free shit in case I ever come back. plus Beatrix enhancements are still coming SOMEDAY

Those 4 free 10+1s will have the same result as any other 10+1 they've ever given out. Majority of people will get no rainbows, those that do will get mostly things they didn't need. Generic 10+1 pulls are complete garbage, they always have been, and I have no idea why anyone has ever said they're good. There is nothing fantastic about a generic pool 10+1. Since the 7* meta, and even mostly before that, Gumi has shifted the balance of rewards toward forcing us to pull via the EX pool. We don't get normal summon tickets for a lot of things, we get EX tickets. This is to dilute our chances of getting specific 5*s that we want so that they can compel people to spend more money. 10+1 and 5+1 tickets work by the very same principle. You can't target a banner with them, you can't improve your chances of getting a certain 5*. It's all garbage.

^ to both of you: yep, exactly. this is why I only do logins now. like literally not even doing the mog king tickets or the free daily dungeon, that's how low my opinion of this game is right now. it's not worth the time for me to sort my box (too many units to enter dungeons at the moment). Yep. It features 6 units (Dark Fina, Emperor, Trance Terra, CG Sakura, Dark Mage Golbez and Ultima), each pull costs 5k lapis (up to four total I think), every pull has two guaranteed rainbows and they can only be among those six. You have your shit tiers in there but Ultima and Golbez are pretty much top tier mages and the others have good STMRs at least (Trance Terra, Emperor and Sakura aren't exactly shit either).

Jesus that's basically a free 1.8ish rainbows (I say ish partly because I didn't do the math and partly because no idea what slot they taking etc) while removing a fair amount of rng. If they did that to global I bet you some actual f2p people would buy at least enough to do that because like you said everything is either pretty good or has a good STMR... or in some cases both. There'd be a lot of money to be made there I bet but squeeze the whales is the policy here

I know a while back I posted a laundry list of things that'd make the game more friendly consumers, and overall, making 5*'s more accessible was a big point of the process. Of course, I still think making 3/4*'s 7*-able is an important step, too, alongside with some much needed overhauls to various characters. Alas.

I know a while back I posted a laundry list of things that'd make the game more friendly consumers, and overall, making 5*'s more accessible was a big point of the process.

Funny part is they totally promised this because it's so obvious. And then they tried to not implement UoC at all and then highly gimped it and then after much backlash left it only somewhat gimped comparatively. But gimped actual changes in pulling and such

Anyway, was also talking stuff like any sort of x+1 one ticket would have a guaranteed 5* on the +1, bumping the rainbow rate up to 10%, removing off-banner rainbows, and stuff like linking acquisition to related events (for example, since this is a Type-0 event, MK could sell 1 of each unit at a fair price, as well as all our future events just having the 1k UoC instead of 150k). Overall, this better situates people into getting 7*s, but STMRs are still in the whale/save a while territory. Plus I'll continue to assert they need to improve the step-ups in both rate and cost.

Oh I know what you meant more or less. Just poking fun at Gumi and to a lesser extent the white knights who assured us that Gumi's words of we will make getting 5* easier were well more than just barely technically true (it is easier than before but the slight increase in ease hasn't even covered the dilution effect from more units forget the need for duplicates). God I'd love to be able to buy a unit. Especially this event since I got luck so am rocking like 625% bonus not counting friend lol. Would be a great way to get us to farm more too... farm to get a farming unit then use it farm UoC

And yeah banner/step ups need huge improvement like say what Idk another version of the game that is 99% identical in content already did with making rates better in a roundabout way and removed offbanners.

That said think they should go even further and completely remove offbanners to begin with including 4* (I'll say meh on 3*). It's like why even have a general no banner pulling section and banner if you doing that. That's redundant question it's clearly to get us to pull redundant units to get us to pull more. Like during the Halloween event the odds of getting the 4* you wanted on that banner was 1.58%... yeah you'd on average pull 2 rainbows before getting a specific on banner gold... on limited time banner with no step ups
