    I’ve run my Thunder Gods Sword through about 7-8 times using my orb refills saved from the last event and so far my best possible roll has been 19%atk 10%HP. Not terrible but after so many runs seeing magic defense etc and nothing by 1%-3% options on floors as high as 8, let alone duplicate options of shit like magic 10%... shits infuriating how bad the appearance rate is for attack on attack weapons.

    I want to keep track of this shit just to see if I’m unlucky or it’s heavily weighted.

    That’s my fucking thought that this shit is weighted because the amount of times I get Magic10%+ on melee weapons and attack10%+ on magic weapons massively outweighs how often I get either of them in the correct weapon . And frankly I don’t put it past them to do something like that cause you can refresh with Lapis surprise.

    Not sure I'd say it's worth it but could always try to go for higher values especially on the hp. Or just say that's good enough

    HP+15/HP+12/HP+10 would likely outweigh SPI+15 or DEF+15, but its a matter of preference honestly.

    I managed to hold out until today to use my 5* ticket after telling myself I'll save it til there are more units in the pool.

    6th Emperor. God damn it.

    Dupes are starting to get to me. How I can have 6 Gregs, 6 Emperors, 6 Sephs, 6x Elfreedas, 6 CG Nichols, 5 DKCs, etc, blows my mind, when there's still a good dozen~ general pool rainbows that I don't have any of. Some I specifically spent just to build up a couple, like getting 2x Nichols, 4x Sephs, 3x Clouds, 6x Elfreedas, so I get it. But Gregged 6 times? Emperor? DKC? Go away.

    oh man going back and completely destroying these older trials for credit was kind of amazing. bringing a single team with no changes even in espers and produce to AoE kill pretty much everything on the first or 2nd cast of quad casting TTs with terribly broken chains lol. God power creep is a helluva drug

    Here's hoping these quests reset twice for me just like the beginners

    It's important to keep in mind the numbers at play. DW attack combines both the main hand and offhand attack into a single number even though each attack misses the attack of the other hand. You'll also need to keep in mind 2 handed bonus modifiers, such as the 30%~ extra from GSD. There's also the self finishing nature of Hyoh's attacks to factor in. TG Cid chains great, but it's a flat amount of damage per hit, only scaling off of the chain bonus. Hyoh's are weighted. Servant of the Blade has 7 hits. That said, the first 6 hits do 0.5x damage total, with the 7th hit doing 3.6x. This allows him to self cap his chain, where as Orlandeau does a flat 6.8x across all hits. The self capping of Hyoh will be worth far more damage as that 3.6x hit will receive the 4x damage boost from chain capping. Orlandeau is left getting that 4x boost on essentially a 0.9x hit.

    Weighting is certainly nice but I think people over estimate the effect on total dmg especially when spark elemental chaining. Also Divine ruination is slightly weighted too it's just generally not brought up because it's not a big difference in over all damage

    Realistically speaking you will be reaching capped so fast you're only shifting a tiny bit of damage. Like using servant example 2 lvl 120 Hyohs (for the servant boost) Dual casting servant doing spark elemental chains would only do about 9% less dmg if it wasn't weighted at all. Which is not enough but not enough to push the effective modifier between the actual modifier and chain bonuses to greater than Oldman DR. Also on triple cast servant the difference gets smaller... but well oldman can't triple cast so those turns he's getting bodied in dmg lol

    Now the difference will be a bit bigger if you say aren't spark or elemental chaining (especially elemental) and if you are neither spark or elemental chaining it will probably be huge but I'd rather not do the math on a chain that takes 30 hits to cap because in this situation you clearly aren't caring about dmg to begin with lol

    2hd bonuses are nice but lets face it unless you whaled hard on VP most people aren't using a 2hd weapon on Hyoh until 7* Sakura comes out

    Whoa whoa there buddy, I know all this already .

    I use Orlandeau to chain with my Hyoh, and my Orlandeau has been with me in my party as a staple since he launched and I pulled him with literally my last 500 Lapis on his banner. He's staying in my party forever and I'm going to turn him into the mountain of muscle and death that his namesake deserves. Even if I were to get 1 more Hyoh and have 2 7*'s, I think unless absolutely necessary I'd still use Oldman.

    Do wish they'd make a way to show each Dual Wielded hands attack separately instead of bundled though.

    PS2 limitations...

    All that said DW builds are slowly but surely getting the TDW gear needed to make DW units competitive again. Though sucks that one of the good pieces is locked behind a 5* limited time unit that may never come back when that TMR was mostly just neet for Lightning and the other 5* wasn't really encouraging pulling either. They might not be true meta but some builds right now are pretty dang awesome. Jump dw Reberta even makes loldrg kind of noice
