Genji glove still worth it for mages? Pulled a 2nd Greg today and I was thinking about working on his tmr next. Only have one quintessence. My first genji is glued to sephiroth.

It's still part of most of their BiS sets if you don't have Quintessence and often you want to run 2 or more mages at once... maybe if they hadn't fixed mag dh or gave us more like we have for atk but until then... so yeah worth. Think the only exceptions right now might be the few mages with mag DH/TDH but no mag DW so like shantotoo, GL sakura and I guess the hybrid users and maybe if the difference between your highest mag weapon and 2nd highest was big enough it might let the DH beat dw


Also to add to my IW woes... went thru a run doing Sparky and thru the entire run I only see atk augs on 2 different floors. 1 was a 5 and the other was a 30% a 10% and a 12%. But ya know can only choose one so only ended up with 35%... which is still by far the best I've done lol. Got 37% mag the other day ie literal perfect mag

Was mainly just annoyed a few runs of my Agni blade produced mediocrity/garbage, just to get that on the gun. Really need to try to get Sasuke's Katana before this one's up, too.

Also, Unmatched Wizardry and Magical Potential are the only other exception (so either you run W-skills or DC stuff) and Bowie Knife with +MAG (but I think most people do HP/DEF/SPR).

So starting to do S rank expedition and of course the weak point in any of them is the story character you have to use. So figure best way to improve them without throwing good gear/materia that I need for other characters on them is to enhance their story weapon since it's a weapon that already gives them a bunch of boosts and is terrible on anyone else that isn't getting the bonuses and only ok on the 7* ones... so with that in my I choose stats that would be best for expedition and very first run I get this...

Seriously every other run has been sparky and it hasn't been this good (accounting for the differences in rare augments of course). IW is such a troll sometimes

Pretty much. Instruments are awful and they're worthless for 99% of units.

So just faced the worst cancer in arena. 4 7* lilliths and ayaka with enough hp to survive chained triple cast tornado and double whatever Aoe move kurasame can use and odin... all of them survived twice. Tried a slower saferish route after and yeah they all have lb fill rate and such so even the ayaka is lbing pretty often and the lilliths are healing themselves. Best part is the guys leader says lightning several times in a row
