FF:BE - Need One More Thread for STMR

Hmm... I think I'm hitting peak FF:BE.

The game has stopped evolving. It's going to be an endless pattern of get new units -> do challenges -> get slightly better units -> do slightly different challenges forever and ever until they shut it down and everything I spent on it becomes nothing.

More or less. At this point, unless you want a specific unit for uniqueness or nostalgia, you're best off hoarding for power creep jumps.

Went hard on item world.. got atkk +30% on sparky on the very first run

And then after probably 40ish more runs, never saw another rare ability lol

Yay got the Midnight star but only being able to do so many runs even with a few lapis refills was only able to get up to 37% hp 10% spr. Fangbreaker augs were a little better in both spr and hp but since it's a better weapon yay another 200ish hp and 100 spr

Looks like most requests other than Elfreeda and Glad getting some buffs to tank a bit better came true. Fohlen got a timed jump, Lunera got w-arrow on a CD, Fry became a good bit more beastly.

The fan festa units...I'm not sure on. There's a lot to take in. Baryl doesn't seem bad per-se, but it almost feels like he's capable of doing too much. That's not a bad thing, but at a glance, I'm not sure how it'd feel to use him. You want to voke/cover/buff, but then to max your damage, you'd have to burn a turn to swap forms, leaving yourself little room to fit in any damage. If you don't need to do the full gamut of buffs and he could focus more on damage, he seems very competent, even top end. He seems to be very heavily reliant on his STMR though.

Ellesperis I'm less sold on. As assumed, she'll self HP drain for 10-30% on each skill. This'll allow her to pretty much perma self-buff with 150% attack and defense, but outside of having someone to heal her up every turn or finishing with one of her drain hits, it feels like you could paint yourself into a corner pretty easily whether from a stray hit or being short on HP next turn. On the plus side, she has limitless triple skill with her TMR ability. The mods seem really low for the power creep we're at though and none of her abilities ignore defense. Maybe they self cap and that data just isn't out yet. She does have a CD for -70% defense and spirit that she can't maintain 100% and isn't available until turn 4 so that's kinda meh. Having the 50% human and demon killer effects built right into her DR chains will help at least.

Fohlen's Jump got it's dmg lowered a lot though... so now even if you use it into a fully capped chain it's only 60% more than it just would've been before no chain. Given it also takes a turn setup and smaller jump bonuses Reberta probably still gunna be jump queen.

And weighting Elle's moves wont likely make enough of a diff considering everything.

Beryl is disgusting and does way too many things too well imo. Elles is garbage. Fryveia is meh. Fohlen is better than his JP counterpart for longevity but he won't win any awards. Lasswell got a great boost. Lunera getting W-Cast is great for her but she is still awkward as fuck. The rest I haven't read but probably not that amazing.

I'm seeing some huge numbers with Fryevia, but also seeing that apparently PG Lasswell + Dracu Lasswell outdamages everything??

In other news I'm now at 51 awakenings, 49 to go and then have to really hope they count already-awakened units for Expert rewards.
