can anyone cue me in on where exactly 2B fits in the dps meta right now? I keep hearing mixed stuff, i don't know whats salt and whats hype but its hard to find a straight answer...

I think i might have to hard pass on christmas units this year outside of tickets. I don't care about any of the new units and i don't want to spend lapis on multi rainbow banners again after how much I got fucked over on hallooween.

I like that we get some many GLEX units, it spices up what would otherwise be a pretty straightforward progression path compared to JP. That said, within the next 4~ months, power creep is going to jump a fuckton. I'm really curious if they have any plans to make all of these limited units and such better with a 2nd batch of enhancements or something. A lot of things won't even begin to come near the capabilities of Akstar and beyond. Elly from Xenogears set a new standard for mages in JP that took upwards of 8 months to really de-throne. The likes of Circe, Barb, and all of our hybrids will have a tough road ahead without some major buffs.

TL;DR - Save your resources for a few more months.

What other options are out there, or alternately what could I be doing wrong? Usually it's that swordsman with the 1-hit kill move that survives Quadra Chaos Wave and does me dirty.

Been awhile since I did it but didn't have any trouble one shotting everything up to the last boss with 2 TTs. Think that round took some mag buffs but otherwise meh.

God I hope they fix those trash step up banners. At least start doing the coin thing or something. And kill offbanners

-Christine: Quadcast, 100% ice imperils;
-Kryla: 70% Full Break, 60% Imperils, LB boost to include 74% Full break AoE.

STMRs:
-WKN: HP +10%, MAG +40%, SPR +20%, equip rod MAG +20%, equip light or heavy shield SPR +40% (materia)
-Christine: MAG +50%, TDW MAG +30%, Ice resist +30% (materia)
-Kryla: DEF +35, SPR +84, Fire/Ice/Light/Dark resist +20% (hat)

I'll probably be buying a Noel with my fan festa tickets after seeing that. A Tornado chaining magic tank with possible Triple-cast? My Rod of Evil just disappointedly rolled RefreshLv1 HP/SPI+10%, I guess thats not so bad anymore for Noel. Come to me my 7* baby.

Figured out my problem in March of the Beasts, I can't get T.Terras to chain for the life of me. What the eff? I know she doesn't spark chain but I can't get anything past 8 before it breaks down into 1-2.
