5ex got me Oldman... finally my first Oldman! Not that he’s useful to me anymore. But it was somewhat satisfying to finally catch my white whale. Then a few hours later I decided to pull a couple 3* tickets on the current banner. First one comes down rainbow... Oldman.

Got Aurora Fry off a random ticket. Very happy about that. Definitely finishing the step up later, but if I end up with BRD lady, I will absolutely select ticket to get her 7*. I will not rest until I have a full team of Frys.

Oh shit I just realized we got a 1 day only bundle today. It's not the worst I guess if you value UoCs pretty highly but feels bad man when you look at $100 getting you 4/10 of a unit of your choice a couple of tickets and 14k lapis. Especially with the only 1 day only and all the bugs that still abound and mediocre response/compensation for it and all the limited time banners back to back we been doing and have coming up etc

I have a bit of loyalty to Fryevia as getting her as a daily pull on the first day of her release was pretty much the single largest boost in power my account saw in a single pull. She carried me through a lot. So I blew my stash of tickets on this banner. I got Myra, Citra, and Dark Cecil #2. 5 star ticket was Folka. Is Myra worth a UoC to 7 star her? I'm looking at her abilities and they look good but I already have 7* M.S. Nichol, Lunera, Ramza, and Marie as 7* Supports. Rena for 7* heals and Eiko/L.M. Fina and now Folka at 6* waiting for a dupe for another 7* heal.

I dunno, I think it's a pretty great bundle personally if you're spending. $25, so 4x to compare to vault of lapis. Pretty much you give up 4k lapis for 16 tickets, 4 UoCs, 1.2m gil, 20% TMR, and 40 cactuars. The last three are typical bundle filler, but the 16 tickets and 4 UoCs more than make up for the missing 4k IMO.

If you are every arguing whether or not a bundle is better than vault and it's close the bundle is trash. Vault is a reference point for the majority of the player base only super whales are going to go well is better than the vault I'm buying too.

That said it like I said not the worst just a lot of feelsbad man for all the reasons I listed. And we might be due for a reevaluation of the comparative value of things like UoC

It's not close to the vault at all though. I don't get where that's coming from. I guess you could argue 4k lapis > 16 tickets and 4 UoCs, but I think that's a pretty terrible argument.

I got my EX today and it was Olive#?. I dont recall if I have one or not all I know is its about 4 metas too late.

Even her STMR is too late. I have it and have literally never used it, because the gun meta was born and promptly aborted with Olive.

Edit: To be fair, she does still have her uses. She can provide a 100% thunder imperil, 70% DEF (I hope I am remembering the numbers right) break and a finisher in a single move. She's quite literally done after it though.
