    So it was basically Japan's idea of western idiots first rpg... an intro to jrpgs with super dumbed down everything from game play to story to dialogue.

    Wasn't it possible to kill every enemy in the game in Mystic Quest? I remember someone telling me there was a level cap in the game because you could run out of stuff to fight.

    From what I remember there was no random enemies at all just ones in set locations for you to fight. Also it you'd walk into them action rpg style but then go into normal turn based battle mode
