I would recommend "Mad Max: Fury Road" or "Blade Runner: 2049" to test the sound. Mad Max won the Academy Award for both "Best Sound Mixing/Editing" that year and Blade Runner was nominated it's year. (should have won imo)

Probably not the right movies for the kiddos though. ^^,

First thing I'll watch will probably be 2049 though, I want to see how this laser projector does with the contrasts in that film. I'm concerned about the lack of throw distance, screen size, and brightness of the projector. It's going to be really bright. I hope there's no hotspots. I think I'm going to build my own screen out of two layer spandex to try to get the gain down to around 0.7 without spending $5,000 for a white canvas.

Some of my theater equipment was a bit cheaper than what you're planning on, so I don't know if they'll work for you, but for Atmos I'm using Monoprice Alpha speakers. They have an angled version. It's only 15°, so maybe not enough for your application, but I imagine there are some other higher end options out there. Monoprice is supposedly coming out with some THX Atmos speakers (I have their THX in wall speakers), but I'm not sure when they'll be available.

And for building a screen, I'm really happy with the material I bought from Carl's Place. It's not quite 0.7 gain, I think the flexi gray is around 0.9, but I really like it. I bought the flexi gray nano acoustic so that I could put speakers behind the screen.

You earn equity, which eliminates pmi and escrow among other things. It's a wonderful thing and much better to earn in this market then actual doll hairs.

Meh. Pmi doesn't just disappear unless it's written in the contract. It's typically stuck for the first 4-5 years before going away even if you hit the 10-20% threshold ahead of time.

Nothing like putting down 10% or less, investing the rest, and doing absolutely nothing and watching PMI and escrow fall off with a phone call.

Houses jumping up 200k a year helps.

Random question but if can renovators also give you an estimate on how much the value of property will change when they're done with their work? Was talking with my sister tonight and she thinks buying a house that's good except for a few things (dated kitchen, needing fresh paint, floor trim, etc.) and getting locked into a flat mortgage instead of dealing with increasing costs of my apartment.

I called to ask about this and they said they had to do a BPO and that it *required* having done some sort of upgrading, and proceeded to list off all the stuff we've done as "not eligible".

Will probably try again soon after we do a little bit more work. *shrug*

Yes the bathroom and kitchen were done. They send a realtor and he writes whatever you want cause he is looking for business too.
