If this is just a few months after Endgame any money Sam had probably went to getting his life back together, no telling how long he's been on the job. Even if he started the day after Endgame ends he's been on the job less than 6 months after 5 years without making money and probably being declared dead/ having his assets taken.

Really don't like either Sam, or his actor, and at this point idc which one it is. Every single Bucky scene was it for me though, and I was starting to get a little emotional at watching him struggle in the asian dad scenes. I could take an entire series of Bucky dealing with his inner demons if they're gonna be acted that well. Have a feeling Sam is gonna come fuck it up tho

Mackie is a shitty actor, really just what it comes down to.

He's totally fine in smaller supporting roles but just doesn't have the chops to carry scenes by himself (this, Altered Carbon season 2)

Guess it proves that Feige isn't infallible. (He reportedly had the job offered to Mackie w/o even an audition)

In fairness, Mackie was great in the Captain America and Avengers movies and his Ant-Man scene, where he didn't have to be the star and the focus was rarely on his acting ability.

I think some director's commentary commented on this and they said that Hulk had everyone brought back into "a safe spot"

Hulk brought everyone back safely, do we know if that extended to people who died because their plane crashed after both pilots were snapped? Or died on operating tables because their surgeon was dusted in the middle of an operation? Or like, babies whose parents were both snapped?

One of the darker storylines coming out of the MCU gonna be how, while it was awful for individuals, it was much better (as a whole) when half the population was gone, proving Thanos right all along.

Don't think so. He only dealt with the people who were dusted. Tony even says don't change anything else.

I think they need to do more flashback stuff about what the 5 years was like, because it really isn't all that far fetched that Falcon has no money.

It's clear though that the show (hopefully) needs to explain this better because there are a lot of naysayers about it.

I was really impressed with this episode over the first one, especially with Anthony Mackie. Obviously the problem is having any scenes requiring him to be by himself as opposed to with others, and he really does have chemistry with Sebastian Stan.

Also holy shit, this show has already had Batroc, Flag Smashers, Battlestar, and now Isaiah Bradley and the Power Broker? This is deep cut central of Captain America mythology, I wonder if Dr. Faustus is gonna show up.
