Some of y'all fuckers forgot Ancient One's explanation of the multiverse in Endgame.

She says you can't affect your current timeline (HP rules), she states any time traveling action will create a new thread.

The TVA basically invalidated the Ancient One's concerns. Her explanation was that removing an Infinity Stone would have created an alternate timeline, but according to the TVA, they'd have just reset it since they only allow for one timeline. Cap's mission to return the stones and snip all the branches ends up being pointless because the TVA would have done the same.

Also, it's not really HP rules. According to the rules of Endgame, you can travel back, doing so creates an alternate timeline if you change anything. If it was according to HP rules, when they went back and took the stones, that's how it would have happened originally as well.

They didn't really invalidate her concerns though. Variants are created that end up being dangerous to the overall health of the universe. My understanding was that in normal circumstances the sacred timeline persists and all other timelines are reset.

Thank you. I mean had questions of my own during the first parts of the show but we've only had one episode so far. Some people just wanna judge the entire series already. Let everything fall in to place, then judge.

I honestly had little to no hype going in to this b/c I'm honestly over Loki after all these years. That being said, I enjoyed that first episode a lot and Tom's performance and I want more. Goddamn MCU, man.

There's one timeline, no original timeline, etc. The best example is when the Patronus saves Harry and Sirius from the Dementors -- the time traveling Harry was always the one who cast it and there was no original timeline where there wasn't someone there to save them.

Am I an idiot? I don't remember anything about time travel being in Harry Potter.

Also, the last image at the end of the credits is that middle Time Keeper, the one who looks to be wearing a helmet, and the statue is split so that there are lines running down both eyes. Looks mighty Kang-like.
