The uncomfortable tension in this series is just mind blowing. I love where this is going. And this was a great excuse to recast Quicksilver. I like this actor a lot more so I'm glad he got brought over from XMEN. Lot of our questions were answered all at once which was surprising. I seriously can't wait for the next episodes.

Starting to think Agnes may not be the witch from the comics, though maybe i'm wrong. I'm 50/50 on whether Wanda is truly just in severe grief and the "villain" or is being controlled by a Mephisto type villain.

I think this episode basically spelled out to me that Wanda isn't the villain because that was their earlier conclusion, but there's clearly something else going on too. We don't know how she resurrected Vision.

That could be. To that point it made me wonder about Agnes; obviously she's known what's going on. I wonder if she killed the dog to see if Wanda really could revive the dead. She could be a witch working with or against Mephisto trying to understand the limit of Wanda's powers, or maybe Agnes's "absent" husband is really dead, and it's just her "character" plays like Ralph is always absent. Maybe she'll want Wanda to revive Ralph.

It explicitly says "Wanda stares at the version of Pietro from the X-Men films" which, on the one hand, could confirm that he is the same character and has crossed over, or could just be explaining the gag for the audience, although the former seems more likely

This episode was craaazy. I definitely think Agnes is in on whatever is going on. The kid's aged in front of her twice and she didnt bat an eye. She's in on it being a TV show. Wanda definitely regained her accent when she came out of the town. Someone brought up a few weeks ago how it was kinda silly they didnt contact the Avengers at all... I disagreed a bit, especially in real life to keep things separate. But after the director dropped the security footage of her breaking into SWORD and stealing Vision's body, how the fuck do you not try to contact any of the Avengers?!

Loved seeing Vision realizing somethings wrong more and more. His character always came off as a little 1-note for me, but damn the emotion he showed this whole episode!

Sword director comes off as a massive dick and doesn't seem to like someone knowing more than him. I can see him avoiding the Avengers based on that alone. He did sneak a Missile onto the 80s UAV without telling Rambo. And notice how quickly he interupted Darcey about the CMBR thing

Also, Rambo seemed more solemn when Captain Marvel was mentioned. Almost like she felt bad for missing a chance at seeing her long lost friend.


Oh, and the Lagos Commercial was probably my favorite so far

at this rate I feel like the Luke Skywalker cameo is gonna be Captain Marvel coming in to save the day at the end, or an X-Men. Can't really be anyone else and still be relevant, maybe doctor strange but really, they gotta have powers or magic.

Wasn't SWORD kinda the baddies in the comics? Could very easily see the dismantled Vision being them experimenting on his body and trying to steal whatever info and technology and etc from him that they can and Wanda coming in to take him as a result of her anger when she discovered this.

They said something like what they were doing was in line with what his personal will said. But again, could easily see them saying that because it conveniently supports and justifies what they were doing to him

If House of M is how they bring in X-Men and such, through a re-write of reality, I'm all for it; they can pick up the new Avengers after that has been resolved, or a part of it.

Couple of things though:

• Agnes & others, subconsciously, at the least know what's going on. Remember the scene with her and the neighbor and vision, at the fence, a couple of episodes ago.
• Mentioned, but never seen characters are a long-standing gag in shows, so I doubt anything interesting is going on there, with Agnes's husband. What or who she is is still somewhat unknown, but she may be the comics witch caught up in Wanda's reality and just trying to make it through.
• I don't see the Director as a bad person, but someone who obviously doesn't like the idea of a mutant taking an entire town hostage, or any guff that tries to humanize Wanda for doing what she did.

I am absolutely loving this.
