TBH I am in the camp it is going to be Magneto or Xavier or Wolverine. I was talking to a friend about it yesterday. Like, a lot of people are throwing around names that would be exciting for a comic book fan, but Disney has fucking money, and would want a more well-known movie character imo.


Plus when it comes to wolverine, Jackman is best buddies with Reynolds and it sounds like once Disney bought fox Reynolds was in constant talks with them over what was to happen with Deadpool. So....

professor X would definitely qualify as a luke skywalker reveal but i'm not sure they could organically get there in the few (or two?) episodes left and have it make narrative sense. would be a real silly deus ex machina. "hey wanda i'm charlie talking to you on the astral plane, knock this shit off u idiot kthxbye"

I feel like that would be silly to introduce in a subscription show. I'm thinking it'll be an established character.

Honestly I want some end of credits, metal gear like scene where there's talking back and forth and at the end an X-Men makes an appearance and then we take a week off and go into Falcon and the Winter Soldier with our minds blown.

Introducing Magneto, especially as her father, would require Wanda to rewrite reality. The closest she's come to that has been recasting Quicksilver, but that's still not really in the same ballpark (and we don't know if she's the one responsible for that).

Not necessarily. Could always have her "parents" not being her real parents, but the people who raised her and never told them they weren't her real parents.

But I don't see this as its going to bring in mutants anyways.

Easily explained as "hey other universes didn't have the Avengers they had the X-Men who had to bring down Thanos" or "other universes didn't return the stones and these were the consequences" or just Wanda reality hijinx.

Doctor Strange 2 is the first time the MCU will touch on multiple realities, right? Endgame was all about other timelines, not universes.

The only other example was Far From Home, but Mysterio was lying.
