First polls are now closing, and will continue every hour/half-hour from now until 1AM.
Finally done. Walking out and the line was still wrapped around the place.
Spoiler: show
that noise is bonkers man I have never waited longer than 5-10 minutes to vote in Cali in any election
Florida and Georgia closed. Florida was keeping polling places in gated communities that wouldn't let people in and Georgia was aforementioned.

bad start to the night
Gillum/Nelson each about 70k up with 15% reporting. Polls still open in areas
I keep seeing names I don't know being declared winners. Not sure what all the tight races are >_<
Took my 5 year old daughter with me. She totally stole the show strutting her stuff. She was super proud to go vote with daddy.
Took literally about 5min if you include "waiting," in line. Timed it just right.
Also, I typically lean to the right though tbh I don't give a shit about parties etc, I vote for who I think is the most fit. Crazy I know. But I ended up voting for overwhelmingly democratic women. /shrug.

Also, they had issues with ballot machines due to humidity in Wake county (where Raleigh is).
How the fuck is that a thing in a state that's humid as hell for 75% of the year and it's never been an issue prior.
Ballots were supposed to be put in locked emergency boxes, but a lot of reports of them just being stacked and set aside.

i often vote with whoever i think would be the best candidate, but this year i said "fuck it, dems are close enough without giving up my principles" and voted all democrat. also voted yes on props 1, 2, and 3 in michigan. they might not be perfect pieces of legislation but i figured at least we can get the basics up then straighten up any problems that arise later.
CNN just projected their 1st House flip. VA-10
and it won't be close, Dem is up by 18 points. 538 model now has Dems with a 94% chance of taking the House
can't see Repubs losing the Senate but think (as I thought before the voting started) that it's going to be a very bad night for them otherwise
First huge wave of polls closing in the next 5 minutes. About 2 hours out from being able to make more definitive statements about who came out a winner tonight.

538 has democrats with a now 92% chance of winning the house.
Donnelly is getting fucking blitzed in Indiana, 538's live tracking has him down to 13% chance to win. Probably going to lose that one, fucking Hoosiers.
