New album is good. I actually liked the first album as well. Not as good as the second one, but it was pretty good.

i only liked the steady as she goes song and the rest were just not my thing really on that album, but tbh i haven't listened to it in a while, i've listened to the 2nd one like a hundred times and yeah the new one is great, im pretty stoked, it's sept. 3rd right around the corner

Jack and Brendan have such similar vocal styles. Sometimes I can;t tell who is singing and when they harmonize it's fucking great.

I mentioned I saw him twice. First time in Radio City was disappointing. Apparently didn't like the crowd.

Second time was at Ommegang's brewery in Cooperstown. Was amazing, played for 3 hours+ in the rain.

The nice thing about seeing "Jack White" rather than one of the other bands is that he picks from his whole catalog. I'm curious if he does the same for a show with The Raconteurs. I agree, Raconteurs is great. His solo stuff can get weird, but Raconteurs is just rock.

The other day we had a lunch for a coworker that was leaving. We were talking about music and one of the guys mentioned he had tickets to see The Strokes. I said I didn't realize they were back together. The guy that was leaving said something along the lines of them being 10 years old or so. I had to inform him that their breakthrough was their 2000 album, and felt old.
