    One of the best live bands I've seen as well. Saw them at the Filmore and was the first time I've seen a lead singer go out and crowd surf while performing.

    Yup, I wanted to post something a little more obscure from that album, as everyone knows Too Close to Hate, Bitch, and Black.

    Also decided to look them up on Wikipedia as I missed a couple albums of theirs, didn't realize they actually nearly went bankrupt when their label went out of business and failed to pay them, and at the same time found out their accountant wasn't paying their taxes, so instead of getting a hefty refund got a tax bill for 120k.

    So... Fiona apples new album got a perfect 10 from Pitchfork, their first perfect 10 in a decade.

    So i'm listening to it... and I'm not hearing a god damn perfect 10. I'm hearing some damn good songs, but not like a fucking instant classic.

    What am I missing or is this just Pitchfork drumming up shit ass attention.

    Let me say this.... NONE of the songs on the album are "Criminal" and I think giving it a 10 is fucking criminal...

    I don't think he's arguing that she's bad, but that this particular album doesn't deserve a 10/10 when Pitchfork is known for shitting on perfectly good albums.
