imo this is pretty sad for a couple reasons
1. First time in a studio track I can hear and feel the age in Hetfield’s voice. Time marches on for us all and I don’t think he’s gonna be able to do this much longer
2. It feels so much like it’s not Metallica but a band trying their best to do a song in the style of Metallica. If I didn’t know better I’d think this was an AI attempt at a new Metallica song
