Download has Baby Metal at least
Well maybe I should be in Daytona next year.
Though I did get tickets to see Disturbed in Las Vegas in March I'm excited about.

not too big on the postmodern jukebox central conceit but this is a beaut of a beaut
I'm starting to think these guys are good.
The few songs I've heard from Bad Omens have all been great.
The Strokes cover
Finally checked out Billie Eilish's discography. It's kind of dope, but I'm not terrible fond of the tracks with heavily modulated vocals. Heavily modulated in this case in comparison to her songs in general, since they all feature it. Only got around to it because someone shared one of those 3D spatial audio things of ilomilo (which cool meme that's still being done) but I really liked the lyrics.
I've been listening to an all-cover playlist and I've always been of the mind that covers come in 2 varieties: either the artist singing the original song exactly as it was written, just in their voice, or doing something different with it to take it in a new direction. Both are equally valid and there are great and terrible examples of either one.
Then I heard Death Cab for Cutie cover Waterfalls and it's like ... it's clearly the first one, it's just Death Cab singing Waterfalls without adding or changing anything, but also that in and of itself dramatically changes it?? I don't know what to do with this song.
For reference
lowkey fire tho
bop
Hannah Montana turning into maybe the best female rock (non metal) vocalist of the modern era was def not on my bingo card. wish she abandoned pop music entirely, girl got such raspy rock pipes.
she sounds almost identical to stevie nicks when stevie got old
