hope so as well. I'm not chicken littling quite as hard as most over it, but when virtually everything else is a dramatic change for the better it's unfortunate to have this dark cloud hanging about

Well, I saw some topic where theorycrafters weren't exactly happy about MCH, they said if things will stay as they did in media build, the rotation will be even worse than before and screwed over by ping.
I'm not an end gamer so I don't usually dive so deep into that stuff and I also think we need to wait for the final build before making real judgement
I honestly don't see the problem they were complaining about. Single weaving during rapid fire isn't a problem. In the same post they say they'd prefer double weaving without rapid fire which was a big ??? from me
even if they're right, don't discount how much of the MCH avoidance was due to it flat out feeling horrible to play. the playstyle overhaul alone will draw plenty of people to the job
That's definitely true. I took all jobs to 70 before SHB except MCH which is 61 because I can't stand playing it more right now
I finished getting everyone to 70 pretty recently. MCH was undoubtedly the worst. wasn't crazy about BRD either tbh, but single-target DOT jobs are gross in dungeons
Yep, MCH's issue was the awful playstyle. If that's fixed most won't care about performance as much and that can be easily fixed during updates anyway. What they usually don't do during an expansion is a complete job overhaul which is probably why you see healers being extremely vocal about these changes to SCH and AST (and lack of change to WHM). If nothing changes by launch we're stuck with this for 2 years, at best they'll toss some random bandaids and call it a day.
Unless there's a huge drop in healer population but I doubt that's gonna happen no matter how awful these changes actually turn out to be. Although I'd love to see that just to see how they fix it lol.
something tells me the greater community isn't nearly as upset about healer changes as reddit is
I mean conservatively at least half of the healing population either 1) doesn't like DPSing 2) prefers fewer buttons 3) plays WHM
that said, I really hope they listen. WHM is great-- they've honed in on their light-based identity, while pumping their raw DPS up enough to compete with buffing healers. now give SCH back a DOT or two, and do.. something with AST

So there's some JP stuff coming out and it's way different than ours in some respects.
Likely they're seeing a newer build. Or it's fake.
nvm not fake https://www.famitsu.com/news/201905/...40.html?page=2
Honestly I wish they'd just open a damn PTR.
Yoshida said Thancred won't be available for the first dungeon, so it's interesting what other tank character will be joining us
I'm kind of glad they dont, I feel ptr does so much damage to wow rather good. Grind out everything you can in ptr, unravel all the mechanics so when they go live you can 1 shot clear everything. Takes a lot of the fun for experience new content. Imagine ptt for savage and ultimates, boy that would be healthy for world firsts I bet.
I’m not sure how I feel about a PTR, but savage/extreme/ultimate equivalent content isn’t available for WoW’s
The article says famitsu went to the EU media tour and that's where they got the info though
was EU tour before or after NA?
we know 100% that NA tooltips were not from the most recent build. there were discrepancies between NA media tour abilities and the job action video, which came after
