BLU will never exist in XIV in a way that requires that kind of testing. it's impossible to balance a job that has no set spells, rotations, or playstyle in a game where every other job does

Or just imagine an expansion coming out and only getting 2 or 3 new spells. Like this is honestly the better representation of BLU rather than having it as a conventional magic DPS class.
When did the Stormblood job guide come out last time prior to the expansion being released?
We're 2 weeks from early access and it's still not up yet, so I'm a bit surprised!
the more I think about it the angrier I am that they actually bamboozled me into going hardcore at what amounts to triple triad for a couple weeks
well played Japan, well played
Thanks BFA
I don't really follow WoW but is it really that bad? That's a huge spike and XIV hasn't really done anything to attract these players in the past few months (speaking of content here, I'm sure they've done a great job with marketing and promotions).
I don't follow WoW much too, but you hear it almost constantly how bad it is. Plus as already mentioned, SE is giving out the game like candy
I started playing right before Legion launched, was great for whenever I felt like XIV was lulling for me. almost everything about BFA was a dumpsterfire though. story was meh, gearing was terrible, several jobs with glaring issues being ignored.
that aside, mythic+ is one of the coolest systems I've ever played in. I would love if XIV managed to adapt it somehow
and of course their glam system is just muah
Lots of people hate the mythic system though, say it's an excuse for devs to get lazy with new content design or something
I mean I wouldn't want it in place of anything else. it just adds an additional piece of content ranging in difficulty from midcore to the hardest of hardcore, bonus points for keeping dungeons alive indefinitely
im ready
That b rank sensor is a very welcome addition.
Also, this was mentioned during some interviews and the letter, but in case people missed it - they said that this time people should talk to story NPC's even after accepting quests from them, as they have added additional dialogue, which while not necessary to progress, will add lore and stuff
That's always been the case though, not exactly new.
Yeah, but I mean, they specifically went out of their way to say this time they put more effort into it
Those dungeons at the end of the video, sooo seeet.
They're adding the duty queue to story instances to avoid another Raubahn EX (actually, it was implemented before, but wasn't as needed as it will be now)
Also, on primal reveal, Yoshi said they didn't mind putting it in the trailer because it's still nothing compared to other surprises coming
And, illustrated countdown started:
