Also, turn the volume off. I never have the volume on.

First thing I did was turn off voices. Second thing I did was turn off music and sound effects because whoever is in charge of sound design over there is terrible.
I hit my first Luna + R&L in less than 15 pulls. Decided to go for a 2nd and hit the pity wall.
Yeah same here. First thing is turn that shit off.
More tips I would say is to save all your Gold Transmit stones till you beat 10-10 on normal so you can summon moonlight people. The 4-5* ticket might be alluring but the ML characters are only available through that.
And when you get the purple phamtasma guys, save it for when you're trying to 6* fivers. I ended up wasting 2 of em getting 4*s to 5 and that was a mistake...
Hey yall my job is getting really busy and I'm not finding time to advance much in this game or participate in GW beyond daily log ins. I'm gonna have to set this aside for some time- but in the future if a slot is open in the guild and I can make it back I'd like to try to be a part of the team again.
I hate guild wars. They’re difficult depending in the guild and all I ever get are 3* relics, such a shit unrewarding system.
I try to keep doing them for you guys though....
I'm having trouble beating other teams at this point, especially while trying to save people from dying so you can use them again in the next battle. You either need to completely dominate the opponent or have a stock of heroes that are geared, mola'd, and awakened. Very frustrating. I've been grinding out hunts for weeks and have gotten maybe 2 upgrades to my current gear and it's really holding me back.
GW is shit and the progression wall is real. Unfortunately, the reddit white knights will disagree.
Yeah for what it's worth, everyone in the guild thinks GW is shit.
It must really suck on days like today for you guys. I had to click around a lot to find battles that I would win and I'm the best geared person in the guild - and I still got 1 draw. I don't think there's like anyone the majority of you guys could beat today.
It's p garbage.
In fairness, we are currently rank 215 or something. At that point I guess it makes sense that some guilds are just going to beat us, but still frustrating.
On the topic of gearing, is there anything in particular to look out for in the normal Raid, or anyone worth avoiding? Is it worth clearing the walkways or just go for the boss kills?
I'm still getting my feet wet with normal raid but on day one I like to clear out the enemies on the path to at least two bosses. Then on day two, kill those two bosses so the trash mobs don't drain my Stamina. Is it the most effective strategy? Idk but it's working for me
I've been just clearing to a boss and then clearing as much as I can towards the next boss each time.
And yes just do as much as you can in raid. It's worth your time to bash your head against a wall until you figure out what works and which bosses you can do. You want to progress in there asap.
I'd like to see how fucked up their matchmaking process is, personally. Like, if being in the top-200 is a guaranteed sodomy, that'd imply there are at least 5500 hardcore players out there relatively concentrated into high end guilds. Just a glance to Reddit will tell that the organization of such isn't really likely, and those brave enough to lurk in that Discord will probably say it's full of idiots, too. Groups like ours as offshoots of other games may be a thing, but I just don't think they're that numerous and it isn't like we're being anal about who we take in, either. There's also no real getting around the fact that anyone who's started within the past month or so will not have 6+ decently geared 60s, let alone ultra meta units like some of these compositions we've been cockslapped with. I guess I could tinfoil hat and suggest SG actually has artificial guilds/players set to "encourage" whaling, but I just don't feel like this game is or should be popular enough to result in these curb stompings. Something more like 75 or less high-end guilds would feel more proper.
It wouldn't be so bad if they actually address issues a lot of us harp on, but I'm remiss to say I feel this PvP is worse than Granblue's and I loathed that shit.
I can see 200 other guilds like ours, but maybe been at it a little longer. It's not that crazy an idea. If you were playing this game early you would probably be able to just randomly group up with others that were there at the start and weed out the people that don't log in. It may take a while, but eventually you'd be left with a good group of people.
My concern is once we're out of this "pre-season" bullshit, the rewards WILL matter. And that's what the rabid PvP enthusiasts want and have more or less ruined other games with.
If we're at top-200 in pre-season I'm not sure that will change for the actual season. Not sure it'll matter in the long run.
One thing we know that's in place, but they haven't acted on yet, is upgrading guardians. I would 100% expect them to put such components within GW, and at a rate where you're if you're not top-10, you may as not even be trying. Their continued choke hold on catalysts/molas and doing their best Tanaka impression to justify it all is why I look to such a dark future.
Either way, I expect GUs to do the following:
- Lower soul costs to summon (probably up to 10 near max for Arky)
- Improve damage
- Add stats to the team similar to Imprints, and rather significant ones at that
- Future content balanced around having them
