Welp saw this since it’s on D+. This probably sounds weird because it’s a marvel movie but like…I enjoyed the Kung fu movie parts more than the fantastical marvel CGI type stuff. The middle really dragged and the final battle stuff felt even too over the top for me and man we’ve seen some gnarly shit in these movies. Kind of want to see Marvel do a straight up Kung fu movie now without the inter dimensional demons or lake dragons.

While I love kungfu movies with all my heart. A marvel kungfu only movie will flop hard, this would be the closest thing we will have and I enjoyed it. A TV series would actually work though Like if they actually decided to do a real iron fist and not that shit that was passed off for iron fist on netflix. Something along the lines of into the badlands, yes please!

I couldn’t help but feel for him the entire movie. Just felt like the script went out of its way to deliberately make him an asshole instead of letting you sympathize with him.

The fights were crazy dope and even the final fantasy battle at the end was fun. Enjoyed the whole movie from beginning to end. Probably the closest thing my son has for representation in the MCU besides a green Zoe Saldana lol.

Thats because it doesnt matter anymore? I never once thought that or made any conncetion what so ever lol. its also a huge reach imo knowing the past movies with Mandarin and the comic history.
