ME3 was spectacular until the ending, pretending otherwise is crazy talk. And the stain of the ending was recovered from via the amazing Citadel DLC. The entire Tuchanka mission in ME3 is absolute peak gaming.

That AND modders piecing together a bunch of cutscenes and shit to make it better haha. Still ending is bad and will forever be remembered as fumbling at the end zone.

DREAD NEWS

has been confirmed that only 3 choices made in Inquisition will impact Veilguard (who your Inquisitor romanced, whether or not you disbanded the Inquisition, and whether or not you vowed to stop redacted or save redacted), and none at all from 1 or 2. p disappointing decision by Bioware given the interconnectedness the other 3 games maintained despite being seperate stories.

It's the choice at the end of Trespasser, yes. Great DLC, would highly recommend.

Was his identity foreshadowed at all in the game? He seemed to be so boring I'm not sure if there wasn't any foreshadowing or I just wasn't paying attention.

I'm pretty sure it's addressed in the closing scenes of the main campaign, but no one else knows about it until Trespasser.

I just remember Solas being the whiniest bitch of all the party members in the game (granted I've not played since launch so could be misremembering) but I never took him with me and dreaded (no pun intended) speaking to him cause he was such a stupid whiny asshole.

he didn't make my party much either but i remember liking him well enough, had some funny lines. him playing mental chess with Iron Bull was great

i've heard from a storytelling perspective romancing him gives some incredible roleplay moments, may do that during my current series playthrough. on the other hand Cassandra is extremely hot.

speaking of i'm rolling through DA2 rn and starting the serial killer quest, not looking forward to its conclusion ngl

That part of the game was quite fucked. Hawke is the best protagonist they've done IMO. Not a super hero, not Destiny's Chosen. Just a guy/gal getting fucked by life at every opportunity. And the DA2 "final" armor set is the coolest of all 3 games easily.

I agree. Too bad the rest of the game is mostly meh minus a story quests
