Defense matrix eats orbs. It also eats Graviton surge, Dragonstrike and Pulse Bomb plus all other normal attacks except Rein and Brig.

Plus it doesnt have a damage cap like Zarya's bubbles. So for ~2 seconds she can absorb infinite damage.
