Saw Spider-Verse and Aquaman over the last 2 days. Aquaman was no joke like watching Flash Gordon but made in 2018. Fortunately I love Flash Gordon.

Spider-Verse is either the #1 or #2 Spider-Man move of all time, behind Spider-Man 2, like the only other one even in the conversation at this point. Homecoming knocked into 3rd.

Anyway that was my Christmas.

Looking at it today I would agree but it had a nice four year run as the best comic book movie ever until The Dark Knight came out. Keep in mind we were used to terrible to okay comic book movies for a long time and the bar was set pretty low in that genre already.

If you wanna look at it with the lens of all comic book movies were bad until TDK and Marvel, then yeah I guess it's not a terrible movie. Actually it's not a terrible movie.

But it ain't great.

I'm gonna see spider verse this week but I'm told it's the best spiderman movie to date. Homecoming was great too, especially Keaton. I'd say Vulture > Doc Oc even tho doc oc was the best villain of the original trilogy and was acted very well.
