I'm not sure it's fair to say that's the whole point of the bill or that would be the only thing in the bill.

the mothers physical wellness, while is still debatable I can understand, especially if it's life threatening.

the language introducing "mental health" is what is concerning to me, with absolutely no restrictions on time of gestation

Idk what mental health impairments would qualify but I imagine they are documented in a shitty book somewhere and doctor's would have to abide by them. So it would come down to shady doctors, but that's still better than walking into a clinic and being like "listen, I been losing sleep over this and so I'm not thinking clearly, my mental health has severely been impaired, let's cut this kid outta me"

I know shit can pop up in the third trimester. My post was a knock on Milkster inventing reasons for 9 month abortions that was never detected until the last minute.

i'm just sayin babies are not uncommonly born dead and without brains and shit and doctors just go 'lol whoops our b'. i wouldn't say it's common but there are many cited cases where third trimester abortions are A) medically sound for the mother, or B) undertaken when the doctors let the prospective parents know their baby is gonna be born without lungs or a spinal column and it's going to suffer for a few days and die if they don't abort it.

We know from the work of emergency room physician Dr. Matt Zban that trained doctors have a difficult time as it is tending to women pushed out of clinics after experiencing severe complications following their abortion. What can we reasonably expect the eye doctors will do?
