He armed himself and walked down the streets at night hoping to get a drunk black guy to step up to him so he could revenge murder said black guy for a rape that black guy didnt do.

The guy clearly said he actually did it. He might regret it sure, but that doesnt change the fact that that's much worse than making bad jokes on twitter.

I wouldn't cancel either of them though. Bad jokes shouldn't do to you what it did to Gunn, and Liam gets points for realizing what he did was wrong and reflecting on it, sharing it, and making sure to make clear that that ain't ok.
