Someone sell me on Dwayne Haskins. Although I can see the jags trading up, my only real concern.

Gruden and Carr seemed to have ended the season on a small bromance so not that worried on the raiders. Bucs have already vouched for Winston next year. And I don’t think Broncos will trade the world to move up for Haskins. The rest in front of the giants already have their young stud qb’s of the future.
Your main concern should be someone else trading up ahead

Haskins was really good this year, his main detraction is inexperience.

I would expect a lot of those teams be willing to trade for sure. Cards, Jets, and Raiders have really shitty rosters and need a million positions to fill.

Niners as well, but they are desperate for edge rushers, and just about any other kind of defensive playmaker after a year of only getting 7 turn overs, and only 2 interceptions, so Bosa is probably their target if the Cards don't take him. If they do, I can see the Niners trading down a few spots.

I'm hoping the teams above us trade out so were left with the best pass rusher, otherwise down and o-line.

Also have hitched my wagon to the Kliff Kingsbury horse. Based on paper alone though, anyone follow his teams?

Bucs have reportedly expressed interest in interviewing Notre Dame HC Brian Kelly for their HC opening.

This is supposed to be the deepest defensive draft in the last decade so teams that have no talent can get guys throughout the entirety of the draft.
Good news for teams like the bengals, chiefs, bucs, falcons, etc that can't play defense at all.

If only a lack of talent was our problem on defense, lol.

Maybe you'll pick up Marvin Lewis as DC or something.

He's interviewing for HC, probably ideally suited for OC though.

I'd be a bit worried to have him at HC considering he couldn't cut it at Texas tech, but I could see him succeeding with an experienced DC a la McVay-Phillips

Quinn is calling the defensive plays next year, so blessedly it's sink or swim time

Why would a 30 year old that got fired in college, and had zero success, be considered as a HC for the NFL? That's some fucked up shit lol

49'ers twisting that knife in the Raiders by hiring Greg Papa as their new play by play guy. Ted Robinson is moving out of the booth to a new role. Can't wait to hear all my Raider fans cry the first time they hear TOUCHDOWN NINERRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSS this season.

The current obsession is young offensive/QB gurus and Kliff has worked with both Mahomes and Mayfield. Maybe his weaknesses won't matter in the pros (recruiting, defense)

It's both crazy and also kinda makes sense. If you have a young QB, at the worst your most valuable position gets better and then you can replace him with someone else if he isn't good at the other stuff

Agreed. His offense's ranks are as follows (S&P numbers from https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ncaaoff):

    Houston Co-OC/QB:
    2010: 48th
    2011: 7th

    Texas AM OC/QB
    2012: 2nd

    Texas Tech:
    2013: 39th
    2014: 19th
    2015: 1st
    2016: 6th
    2017: 25th
    2018: 25th

It's a pretty good track record on paper. On the flip side, you look at his W/L and can have the exact opposite opinion. S'why I'm wondering if anyone actually followed those teams, I'm in the dark on anything but the numbers. I'm interested in anyone that can provide a creative offense suited to the talent and develop Darnold (ie not McCarthy).

Anyone watch that show The Masked Singer last night? Apparently we now know why AB was AWOL lol. Totally thought the Hippo was going to be Victor Cruz by the way. And the Deer is most definitely either Tebow or Bradshaw.
